Use Social Media to Give a “Shout Out”

Have you heard on the radio the term, “Give me a shout out!”?  The term or phrase was so that people could give a “shout out” on on  a public forum and connect with the person at the other end.  This gets everyone excited and they will quickly call friends to let them know they got a shout out from the radio.

How about using Social Media, like Twitter or Facebook or whatever your preference is to give your fans a Shout Out. It doesn’t have to be from the radio.  A simple message that acknowledges them and lets them know you value them.  This is simple, but easier said than done.  Doing this consistently will give them a reason to share with friends.

Creating ongoing value to the relationship could be as simple as setting up “frequently asked questions”  posts and have them sent out regularly. Maybe just creating an email that tells them your wishing them well on every holiday.  This simple formula for connecting with clients and giving them a shout out will get them running out to tell their friends.

Got a sale for the holidays?  Send out the invitation! Everyone likes to be invited. The best way to give a “Shout Out” is to go directly to your social network and let them know you are there for them.

As I begin to continue to provide content on this site, I would love it if you would let me know what Social Media you use, your “Shout Out” and what were your results. By the way, if you liked this, share it on your social media as well.

Thank you
